A Cast of Characters

I've created several adventure characters in my role-playing life. I've written about some of them on other networks. Those stories are gone. But, I think that I'll start writing again. So, here's a short summary of the characters that I'm planning on using. If anyone remembers them, please send me an email saying "Hi".

Wants vs Needs

I wrote previously about my reaction to slaves who spend a lot of time talking about their wants. I talked about how their wants should match their Masters. But, I also know that slaves have needs. I was trained as a sensualist. I no longer want great physical stimulation. I need it. Without it, part of me will die. I have struggled with holding onto that part of me. The part of me who would smile with pride with the marks that my Masters left upon my body. That part of me is dying. That part of "boy" is dying. But, I'm afraid to tell him goodbye. I don't know if that Masters ever want to see him again. Or shall I become the "son" and "lover" that the Masters are currently demanding upon me?

Santa Stole My Wii

I had a Nintendo Wii. I traded in over 60 games at GameStop to get a credit of over $400 to be able to afford the Wii. I stood in line outside the EBGames in Delaware, seventh in line, awaiting the UPS shipment in hopes of getting the Wii. WIth only six Wiis delivered, I quickly drove down US-23 to a GameStop. Their shipment hadn't arrived yet. So, I waited again. After two hours and a crowd of over fifteen, the shipment arrived. I was second in line, so if the store was getting Wiis, I was going to get mine. The store had gotten only three Wiis. Success!!! My perserverence, hard work and patience had prevailed. But, then, strange things happened.

Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad

Last night, the three of us went out. Yes, all three of us. We started at Woofs. Usually, Trident sponsors this night, but no one was to be found. Good for us, since that saved us six dollars in cover charge. But, August forgot his cigarettes, so I spent the six bucks on the cigarette machine. August was expecting some people he met online to meet him at Woofs. Robert expected a friend from Trident. Robert was disappointed, and August was surprised. The two of them spent time talking to friends and acquaintences, and sometimes, drunken strangers. The drunken strangers won, annoyingly, so we left for Exile.

Fur 'n Foam at the Exile

Master Robert decided that we were going to the Exile tonight. That meant dressing up on formal leather. For me, it's leather pants, vest, arm and wrist bands, glove and collar. For Master Robert, it was a harness, arm and wrist bands, and chaps. We left after 10, hoping not to be the first ones there. We weren't. And we also weren't prepared for tonight's festivities at the Exile.

Live at Woofs

Tonight, I'm typing this blog at the bear bar in Columbus -- Woofs. I'm doing this for two reasons -- one to see if I can type in the dark -- and two because I'm bored.

Woofs has wireless internet with two computers. Most usage I've seen on the computers has been surfing the bear sites. I find this strange, since there are lots of bears at Woofs.

Kingdom Hearts II finished

I followed through with my decision and, surprisingly, quickly finished Kingdom Hearts II. Sora's level was in the seventies, so I guess that's why. The ending was long -- too long -- but enjoyable, with the final scene hinting of another sequel.

So, I'm going to take a break from gaming before starting my next game -- Final Fantasy X-2. I need to finish this game before getting Final Fantasy XII. This will be the fifth or sixth time I've started this game. The last time, I got to a great part of the story, but circumstances (aka work) pulled me away from it. So, back to Chapter One.

Finishing without Completing

I'm currently playing Kingdom Hearts II and am at a major decision in the game playing. Kingdom Hearts II like most Square-Enix games has many sidequests and missions. So, I could continue playing the game, building up Sora, Donald and Goofy, for hours and hours and hours. Or I could attempt to defeat the final boss and pray that I've gotten Sora up to the appropriate level.

I still have many other games to play - I really want to get into Final Fantasy X-2 and Resident Evil 4. Although I do appreciate the additional gaming, it doesn't help me on my goal of finishing most of the games that I have.

Site changes

With the tax season over, I've been spending some of my time fixing up this place. I've gotten the photo gallery that the family has been wanting since this site has opened months ago.

I've been constantly adding recipes as well as showing the last ten recipes added on the right side of the site.

Other things that I'm planning on adding is a catalog of our video collection. And maybe months from now, books and comic books.

New Member

We have a new member of the family. Her name is Princess Emeraud Ursa, but we call her Emeraud. She is an eleven week old Bichon Frise. Here's her picture:
